Hospitals for children, access to life saving therapies, and palliative and end-of-life support for children are rare in resource-constrained countries.
A major focus of Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration has been to support curative interventions for childhood cancers. 2WCC in partnership with INCTR is developing resources and protocols that can be implemented and sustained by care professionals in resource-constrained communities.
Two Worlds pediatric care goals:
- Establish a curative cancer treatment program for children age 0-5 years
- Establish the collaborative partnerships necessary to implement programs locally
- Build self sufficiency for long-term, sustainable care programs
